Our story

Built on 25+ Years of Making Chairs People Sit In All Day

Declan is the office chair brand of Devatha Industrial Corporation, founded in Bangalore in 1998. We started with a simple idea: a chair you use for eight hours a day should support your body, not fight it.

Today we make 31 ergonomic office chair models across four ranges — from everyday mesh task chairs and visitor chairs to executive and ultra-premium high-back seating. Our chairs are used in IT companies, corporate offices, schools, co-working spaces and thousands of home offices.

What hasn't changed since day one: we still manufacture in-house, we still sell factory-direct, and we still stand behind every chair with a 2-year warranty and after-sales service.

What we stand for

Comfort, Honesty and Craft

Three things guide every chair we make and every customer we serve.

Comfort first

Ergonomic support, breathable mesh and properly moulded cushioning — so the chair helps you work better and sit healthier through the whole day.

Honest pricing

We manufacture ourselves and sell factory-direct, with transparent prices and no middlemen. Free consultation to help you pick the right chair, not the most expensive one.

Made to last

Strong frames, quality mechanisms and sturdy bases, checked before dispatch — with a 2-year warranty and repair service long after that.

Questions About Declan

Quick answers about who we are and how we work.

Who is Declan?
Declan is the office chair brand of Devatha Industrial Corporation, a Bangalore manufacturer established in 1998. We design and make ergonomic office chairs — from everyday task and visitor chairs to premium executive seating — for offices, institutions and homes.
Do you manufacture the chairs yourselves?
Yes. Declan chairs are made at our own facility in Bangalore. Because we are the manufacturer, not a reseller, we control quality at every step and offer factory-direct prices with no middlemen.
Where is Declan located?
Our facility is at No. 558B, 60 Feet Road, D Group Layout, Srigandhada Kaval, Bangalore 560091. We are open Monday to Friday 9 am – 8 pm and Saturday 9 am – 5 pm.
What warranty do Declan chairs come with?
Every Declan chair comes with a 2-year manufacturing warranty. We also provide repair service and spare parts after the warranty period.
Do you take bulk orders and customise chairs?
Yes. We supply corporates, IT companies, startups, schools and co-working spaces. For bulk orders we can customise fabric, colour, upholstery, armrests and base finish, with special volume pricing.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to your doorstep across Bangalore — including Bellandur, Whitefield and Electronic City — and supply bulk orders to other cities across India.
